צֶ֥דֶק צֶ֖דֶק תִּרְדֹּ֑ף/Justice, Justice shall you pursue, says the Torah, and at CBI, those are the values we proudly espouse.

We support each member of our community as the need arises, as well as aid communities outside of our synagogue who call on us for help.

To that end, we have partnerships with several organizations (Red Cross; Salvation Army) and are connected with our mayor’s office, which keeps us abreast of the local community and its needs.

We also think beyond our walls, with our fingers on the pulse of the social issues of our day. Recycling; global warming; poverty; and the racial divide across America are all issues that are part of our communal conversation.

Our community will help you explore and discover the Divine spirit within you, that part of you that allows for your heart to open and soul to sing.

We are always looking for new ideas—and new people to share their ideas—about Social Justice.
